FIVE quick hacks to help with the CHAOS!

FIVE 15-minute hacks to help you stay on track during the chaos.
Do you ever look at other people and wonder, Wow, they’re adulting so well, And how does it look so easy? Don’t worry; you’re not alone. We have all sat and thought about how did we get this adulting gig and where we get a refund once or twice! But I am here to tell you that you got this, don’t sweat it. Here are some little hacks that will help you to stop feeling overwhelmed while keeping you productive and on top of things during your busy working week!
One: meal planning is a must. Deciding what the family has for dinner every night can be time-consuming and draining. It’s the last thing you want to do at 5 pm when everyone is hungry, looking at you for that golden answer to “What’s for dinner “?
Once a week, dedicate some time to plan the meals for you and your family – you can do breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just dinners; whatever works for you. Fill it out on the fridge planner so the whole family can see it.

Two. A load of washing a day keeps the doctor away. No, not really, but it can help with the lurking odours! Isn’t it funny how we can spend a whole day washing to finally see the bottom of that basket for a small child to walk straight past and dump the 2nd outfit of the day at your feet, and then the pile starts to grow. The best way to keep on top of this, and so you don’t have to dedicate a whole day to washing once a week, is to put a load on every day, either hang it out or chuck it in the dryer before you go to bed.
Three: take the rubbish with you when you leave in the morning. This is a great habit to get into, it saves it from being in the closed house all day, and it is rewarding to come into a clean home in the afternoon. Spend that 15 minutes (or less) before you leave to do a quick sweep of the house, emptying any bins and picking up any rubbish from bathrooms, bedrooms, or living rooms. Leave it at the front door and take it out when you leave.
Four: Opening mail, checking emails, and writing a list of upcoming bills or payments due. Doing a quick 15-minute check of these things, you will be prepared for any forthcoming statements and keep you from getting overwhelmed. As we all know, all the bills like to come at once! The last thing you want is a Bill Reminder notification after you have been online shopping!
Five: Fill your car with petrol. The worst decision as an adult is don’t worry about it. I will get petrol in the morning, NO! If you’re the car and the petrol is low, fill it up. The mornings we need to get petrol never run smoothly. I have come to learn! So make the responsible decision which will only take 15 minutes or less, and fill up the night before or while you are still out.
